I'm too tired. Too tired to name this post. Too tired to take cool pictures. Too tired to even get up and get ready for bed.

So here are some pets of Pinterest for you.

The 25th Year.

Saturday marked my 25th year on this planet. Welcome to the last birthday where it's exciting to claim that you can do something now that you are of age.

I am proud to say that I can officially rent a car on my own and I will now save on my car insurance.

AKA: Welcome to adult world where you're supposed to act excited that there's more liability and responsibility in every decision you make.

And as I had briefed earlier, life isn't what I thought it would be like 10 years ago. But that doesn't mean it's all bad.  My friend Rachel listed how life had changed 10 years ago, to thinking what life would be like in 10 years, and how life turned out to be. I took a stab at it.

10 years ago I was:
-I was a sophomore in high school at Pleasant Grove High School
-Me and Brigette hung out all the time in her Corsica
-My dad gave me an Avril Lavigne poster for my birthday. So cool.
-I straightened my hair everyday
-Got my first cellphone with 60 minutes per month
- I had made the cheer squad for my Junior year
-I listened to Ben's girlfriend at the time talk about him everyday in English class, and to me his name was, "This Girl's Boyfriend."
-I hated whipped cream, mustard, tomatoes, mushrooms, and fish.
-I wore sweatbands on my forearms for accessories, because apparently I thought that at any moment I might be needed in a physical activity

10 years ago I thought 25 be like:
-I would have a successful career as a magazine writer for a fashion magazine. Oh How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days really sparked my interest. Or was it Matthew McConaughey?
-I would be married
-I would be living in a huge and beautifully decorated apartment
-I would have my own dog

I didn't know I would be:
-Dating "That Girl's Boyfriend," for over 5 years
-I would be in a long distance relationship
-I would end up going to Art School
-I got my Bachelor's Degree in Advertising and Design
-I am a Copywriter
-Not married (not a negative note)
-I live with my parents (Thanks to the Art School tuition, and the massive student loans I was greeted with 6 months later)
-I actually have a job in my field of work
- I like fish, mustard, tomatoes, and mustard
-ran a half marathon
-I hardly ever straighten my hair

And for the record, I still hate whipped cream. Why would you pay to eat something that has no flavor?
Exactly. You wouldn't.

Anyways, the day was perfect and relaxing. I opened some gifts, got a manicure and pedicure, and had a lovely dinner with Mr. Man of Mine. Here's to the 25th year of existence and the adventures it brings. In my last attempts to hang on to my youth, let me describe my day of birth with trendy Instagram pictures.

Never take directions from teenagers.

Because you'll end up asking yourself, "How did I get into this, again?"

Yeah, this happened.
If they ever become a YouTube sensation, I am taking total credit for the entire thing for my artistic abilities. Ellen Show here we come! haha.
